They are exactly what the picture shows. I wear an 8 so I ordered an 8 and it fits perfectly. If you have a wide foot, it may be a little snug on the sides. There is enough room in the toe to wear thick socks with them, but even as I was trying them on with no socks, they still hugged my foot and didn't slide off or anything. The material is canvas so they will probably be very durable. With all that said, the original price tag on the shoe says $70 but I paid 39.95 and I probably would not have paid $70 for them. I am very happy with them for the price. And God d�mn it I was to walk on them!Problem was solved after 15 minutes of pulling and pushing wearing a pair of sheer sock like this > Gatta Vee Sheer Socksto help my foot slide into the boot I was able to wear then and they were super comfortable.... all the getting to wear them situation was worth it!
