The boots look exactly as pictured, BUT they seem to run small. I usually wear a straight 8 in Nine West Shoes. I need another size in these boots or I could not wear them with socks.

I took the advice of the first reviewer and ordered a half size bigger just in case I need to put some cushioning in there. Booties like these tend to hurt. The first day I got it, I didn't have some Dr. Scholls in hand but was super excited to wear it- so I did. I wore it to my class in Manhattan. No pain at all. Later that midnight, I got a call from my father to come home right away. I had to walk half a mile to the subway and I was already prepared for the pain. I walked so fast (considering I was wearing heels) because the streets were empty and I was so scared. I'm used to wearing flats that cause blisters or wearing a 3 inch heel for 12 hours a day (no sitting) and I was thoroughly prepared for the pain but the cushioning already in the shoe was already good! My feet didn't hurt at all. My tolerance for pain might be different than some people so don't take my word for it that this shoe is completely painless. I got these for Christmas in the Blue Suede, which is no longer available. They are quite comfortable, but do run small. Definitely protect your investment by spraying them before you go out into wet weather. :)
