The black distressed leather gives them a convincing vintage look. The size 9 I ordered fit true to size. My feet are normal to wide in the toe and narrow in the heel and ankle. The Suzetta boot is neither too pointy nor too wide in the toe box, and the lacing allows for a custom fit around the ankle. I wore them around the house for a while, and they were comfortable.I did not rate them five stars because the pair I received had a defective lace, and I returned them. The boots come laced, but the left shoelace had a bulge in it and was jammed into one of the top eyelets and couldn't move at all. Rather than ask for a replacement, I've decided to look for a boot with a slightly higher heel to wear with some of my longer boot-cut slacks. Also, I'll look for a zipper to allow for faster dressing when I'm trying to get somewhere on time and every second counts, lol. |
