These are NOT zipper boots, they are pull overs. (In the pictures you can see the zipper disappears into the cuff, that's as far up as they go, so you unzip about half the boot (??) The zippers are on the inside of the boots, so it's not as if they're very decorative... Honestly, I just really don't understand why they have zippers at all.)

The only other thing about these boots: they run VERY strict to size (a size 8 will fit a size 8, but NOT a size 8 with socks, etc.), so unless you don't wear socks (or only wear stockings) you're better off ordering 1/2 size up.

Aside from that, these boots are FANTASTIC. They look and do fit great, they're super comfortable, and they have great traction. So far, they're also proving to be great winter boots--they've kept my feet and toes nice and warm without feeling suffocating/or too warm after I've been inside for a while (though it hasn't been below 30F since I got these, so if it gets colder I'll update this review with... Oh boy! I got a fantastic deal through warehouse deals. I have been hemming and hawwing on whether to buy or not. Then when I saw the price I just snapped them up and am so glad I did!
They have a very nice pebble texture. The shearling is faux but cute none the less. Lets see how they wear. The sole is rubber. In person they are very cute and sophisticasual.
They are comfortable - very important. And run true to size.

Like the previous reviewer. I agree. Zipper? hmmm. But dont let that distract you.

This boots I bought for my sister. Fantastik but that were one that she loves at one glance and the size was perfect.
